Employee Recognition Programs
A well thought out employee recognition program can help to promote a positive work environment. It’s a great way to tell your employees "thank you" and encourage other employees to work to achieve a certain standard. Here are a few tips for a successful recognition program. Decide what you want to achieve through your efforts. Create goals and plans to recognize the behaviors and accomplishments that help to achieve those goals. For example, if you are having attendance problems, you can start a recognition program for employees who go a certain length of time without being absent. For larger goals, you will want larger recognition programs. For example, if you are encouraging employees to exceed production or sales goals, you should recognize everyone who exceeds the projection, not just the highest performer.
